Hi, if hirer on nite shift and there are items left behind by pax you should pass the items to your day shift hirer and let him return to taxi office.
As for punctured tyres, I think there are type shops open late at night.

For Night shift cabby, Pls take note:
There are two tyres downtown open at night.
1) One opposite Lavender food court, open till 0300am.
2) One at Balestier somewhere opposite Quality Hotel open till 0100am+
But If possible, advisable to have one of this in your cab.

The things u mention won't happen everyday la
like items left behind,tyre punture,minor svcing etc etc
so once awhile give n take la
iam also a hirer driving nite
normally all tis I'll ask my day shift driver to help
tyre punture ofcoz I'll try to settle myself if shop still open if not day shift do lor
if wan to be too calculative then very difficult la partnership won't last long one
otherwise good to have a proper spare tyre
sometimes i think its good to keep the weekend for hirer(who drives night shift), least he can go sort out anything with the workshop or company
some relief and hirer arrangement are to drive 5 shifts and a full day on alternate day of a weekend. so either party will have a full day no need to touch car

Very difficult to find relief to drive day.....
Where got relief jiak ba so free, di di help you go workshop?.....

but nowadays some times workshop don't want to leave paper trail, they try to fix it within an hour for you.

Downtime is not a profit.....
Of course, recent years many new taxi on the road, want to di di break down also not so soon.....
But the day will cum lor.....
in our trade, there's this mutual agreement
day shift , go servicing and repair
nite shift, wash car daily
if anyone got issue with this, they are the one with problem
