Which area day shift driver covers.

Periodic Monthly maintenance,yes Other minor or express service also day shift to handle ? . If hirer on nite shift and items left by pax on board,should relief bring to taxi office on his behalf ? or should nite shift hand over to police station or next day, day shift handover car early enough for hirer to bring to office. Similarly,nite shift driving had a punctured tyre,can he leave it for day shift to repair,there are tyre shops open late into the nite.

Hi, if hirer on nite shift and there are items left behind by pax you should pass the items to your day shift hirer and let him return to taxi office.
As for punctured tyres, I think there are type shops open late at night.

For Night shift cabby, Pls take note:
There are two tyres downtown open at night.
1) One opposite Lavender food court, open till 0300am.
2) One at Balestier somewhere opposite Quality Hotel open till 0100am+
But If possible, advisable to have one of this in your cab.

The things u mention won't happen everyday la
like items left behind,tyre punture,minor svcing etc etc
so once awhile give n take la
iam also a hirer driving nite
normally all tis I'll ask my day shift driver to help
tyre punture ofcoz I'll try to settle myself if shop still open if not day shift do lor
if wan to be too calculative then very difficult la partnership won't last long one

otherwise good to have a proper spare tyre
sometimes i think its good to keep the weekend for hirer(who drives night shift), least he can go sort out anything with the workshop or company
some relief and hirer arrangement are to drive 5 shifts and a full day on alternate day of a weekend. so either party will have a full day no need to touch car

Very difficult to find relief to drive day.....
Where got relief jiak ba so free, di di help you go workshop?.....
Pig also not so big.....
But if you are hirer driving day, than you don't do, who will do?.....

tyre blown, change the spare one lah, cannot change yourself meh??, then ask morning shift hirer or relief to help to bring to patch it up....now, whatever thing you want your partner to do for you, please lah, compensate him some money lor...like if he needs to spend an hour..give him $20 extra lor. Like this, sure no black face one. As for pax left over stuff, if not much value, throw into the rubbish bin lah..still jiak ba eng go office meh??

How many are this type like u can see open to compensate. Problem is some hirers on nite shift take for granted that it is ABSOLUTELY DAY SHIFT driver duty to patch,excuse given is repair shop close at nite. -

Go workshop servicing can claim down time
but nowadays some times workshop don't want to leave paper trail, they try to fix it within an hour for you.

Downtime is not a profit.....

in our trade, there's this mutual agreement
day shift , go servicing and repair
nite shift, wash car daily
if anyone got issue with this, they are the one with problem

That is why, everything must talk first, Service, who go? Tyre puncture, who go, where to go Fuel pump..by km or clicking -
Timming of take over car washing, who do? etc etc If you dun talk and decide, later thing like this will happen Knn Bowah, your fuel pump so less, 20km only, fuel gauge down liao.,..eat me si bo or Knn Bowah. tyre no air you dunno, this morning, I hv to drive into tyre shop...waste time leh Communicate more...earlier I already taught you all about relationship, First, when first met... I agreed to a certain extend, cos one of my buddy, who is a relief living in jurong east...he also hv the same mentality, buay song throw, buay gam...throw, end up, knn, the whole jurong east Taxi hirers also know him liao...then now hv to look for jurong west hirers
