was thinking why our hdb flats are so expensive???
40-50 years ago,when it was built by our forefathers,the kampong houses cost almost nothing to build. oh of cos its not as comfortable as the now houses.those who agree with the last sentence has never given it much thoughts have you???

anyways,20-30 years ago,flats appear to be the norm,springing up like mushrooms(shrooms
).tho its hard to imagine,but much of these are built by chinese,malays,indians,basically our own singaporeans!!and they cost what??maybe $50 thousand for a 3 or 4 room flat..
now ALL the houses,hdb la,semi d la,condo la.....everything la....is built by foreign legions.cheap labour,maybe $30 per day max.so why do our houses cost $200 thousand for 3 room flats?which by the way is much smaller than our old 3 room flats... smaller but way more expensive!!!!
some say sg land small,so land expensive.i say bulls to ya.land small????what about the land in lim chu kang,mandai,ulu sembawang and god knows wat else the gahmen has.wat about the lush golf course that takes up so much space for the exclusive use for a few
and its not 1 or 2 golf course count them urself..
